About Us

Electrolysis has been around for 100 years. It was created in 1875 by Dr. Charles Michel to remove unwanted ingrown eyelashes. It is the only method that is safe and effective for permanent hair removal. It is also the only method approved by the FDA and the medical community as well. It can be done on all hair and skin types, unlike laser. Laser can only use the term permanent hair reduction even if they only rid you of a few hairs and is not safe for all hair and skin types.

The way Electrolysis is performed is a small probe is inserted into the hair follicle and a slight electrical current is applied to destroy the germinative cells that create a new hair. There are two modalities that are used in Electrolysis. Galvanic current, which changes the water and salts in your skin into a product call sodium hydroxide or in layman’s terms lye and Thermolysis, which works by heating the hair matrix cells causing electrocoagulation. The two modalities can also be used together in a Blended Method.

Electrolysis is the PERMANENT hair removal solution you’ve been looking for. It is safe and effective for all hair and skin types. Almost everyone has unwanted hair. If you don’t, you’re one of the lucky ones. For some, it’s purely cosmetic, and for others, the hair removal can truly be life-changing. Most of you will start with shaving, tweezing, waxing, etc. Those, sadly, are temporary methods and in some cases can cause the hair to become coarser and more problematic. These methods, being temporary, will need to be done periodically for the rest of your life. With Electrolysis treatments, you’ll get a percentage of permanency with each treatment that you complete, and with a series of treatments, your percentages get higher until the area is hair free. Electrolysis has proven itself and will be the permanent solution that you have been looking for to remove that unwanted hair.

I had a downtown office for 20 years but I currently work out of my home. My customers constantly comment on how private, tranquil, and relaxing the environment is here. On occasion, you may have to wait a few minutes and when I come out and apologize, the response is usually “no worries”. They love the space.
